TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Job Minimum: ALL JOBS have a $200 trip minimum. We want to make sure we are able to stick around year after year. That means making sure our travel time, gas, and crew are taken care of. This is not an additional charge, and goes towards your screen services. This is why we highly recommend doing multiple or all of your screens at the same time. And if it's just one, be aware of the trip minimum.

Materials: Please be aware we do not use customer provided materials. We cannot guarantee the vintage or quality of customer provided materials. We also cannot extend our limited lifetime warranty on parts on customer provided materials, therefore we do not use them. 

​

Lifetime Warranty: All screen jobs come with a lifetime limited warranty. This includes ALL screen mesh and frame parts and components. This warranty however does not cover or include labor costs or the frame of a  door if a pet bends or breaks it. 

Satisfaction and Service Guarantee: We guarantee you are satisfied with your service. If for any reason you are not satisfied we will return as many times as it takes to make it right. We stand behind our work. We are human and sometimes make mistakes but we always fix them.

Scheduling: We try our best to arrive early if not on time, however life happens. Greater Metro Denver area traffic has gotten bad and we mean bad! If you commute, you understand. Therefore we always propose approximate time frames and ask for grace period on arrivals. Anything outside of our normal service area is subject to a $165 trip charge aside from our trip minimum. 

Cancelations: We ask for 48 hours notice for any cancellations. Cancellations that are less than 48 hours notice are subject to a $100 cancellation fee. We like to take care of our crew and ensure they get a paycheck and we appreciate your understanding. 

Rescheduling: There are some conditions in which we will need to reschedule window cleans. These include high winds, temperatures that are 39 degrees or less, and or icy unsafe ground or roof conditions. We always prioritize our crew's safety as well as quality window cleans and appreciate your understanding. Glazing bead replacement is subject to suitable weather conditions. Services may be rescheduled in cases of extreme cold to ensure quality and safety.

Payments: Payment is due at time of service. We charge a late fee, equal to 25% of the entire job, for late payments without prior payment arrangements. Prices are subject to change once job is evaluated in person. After 30 days of nonpayment without prior arrangements, That Screen Guy has the right to file a lien against the property with the outstanding invoice

Access Codes: Any and all gate, lockbox, door or access codes given are by the discretion of the owner and therefore owner assumes all liability when sharing such information.

Window Cleans: Window cleans do not include skylights, window wells, third story windows or garage doors. We are able to offer these services but they are an additional charge. We do not offer paint removal or hard construction debris removal (Silicon) without additional charges and agreement. If we come across overspray or construction debris we will notify of price adjustment before performing the work, and we may need to reschedule the appointment due to the additional time that removing debris safely takes. A scratch waiver will need to be signed prior to construction clean.

Prep before Window Cleans: Air conditioning units, security bars, or any other accessory that is required to dismantle or move from the window will need to be removed before our window cleaning service. We will do our best to clean around these accessories if they are left in place but we will not tamper with them ourselves. We ask that you have all breakables in a safe spot away from all windows, all blinds pulled up and a clear path at least 2ft from all windows to allow a quick but efficient process for our technicians.

Track Cleaning: Our track cleaning is a complimentary service. Track cleaning especially on old or dirt filled tracks is a lot of labor. If you are wanting a guarantee of perfect cleanliness in the window track we'd be happy to give you a quote for the "Q-tip" treatment, just let us know - but it is not included in the window cleaning price.

Old Windows: If your windows are old and the seals on them are broken, moisture can build up in between the glass panels from rain, snow, and yes window cleaning. We can never completely get these windows to sparkle. The only way to fix this problem is to get new windows installed. We will do our best to clean them but will not be able to clean the moisture and grime in between panels. 

​

Screens: While our screen cleaning system is definitely something that sets us apart from the other guys, we cannot guarantee that all screens will look brand-new when we complete the job. If screens have sun rot, tearing, or fabric deterioration we may not be able to clean the degraded screens.

​

Off Site Parts: Any screens or doors that are approved to be created off site, at the shop are considered an order. With these orders, we purchase and fabricate screen and door materials out of the company pocketbook. Therefore if a customer cancels an order that is already in fabrication - the customer will still owe for 40% of the total order price. 

​

Windows: Please be aware that we do not do wooden window screens and we are not a restoration company. We always treat antiquated or wooden windows with care but we cannot be held liable to wooden window frame damage when installing new screens. Most wood window frames are decades old and very delicate to the touch. 

​

Pets: We do ask for you to put all pets and animal companions inside prior to the start of outdoor work. If we are doing interior work we ask you kennel  pets if possible. This is for safety and quality assurance. We love our fur friends and want to keep them safe while repair operations are in motion. 

​

Pet Resistant Mesh: This upgraded mesh is more resistant to typical pet damage, but as with any screen mesh - NO mesh is 100% pet proof. 

​

Metal Security Mesh: We do offer this mesh option but have to make our customers aware that metal security mesh does dent and crease easy. We do our best to avoid these but this material is prone to this type of cosmetic damage. Most screens will need new frames in order to facilitate metal mesh. 

​

Insurance Companies: We do not accept insurance claims or insurance payments. We take direct pay from customer or contractors only. We can however complete the work and then send an invoice which can be independently sent to the insurance company. For contractors - we do not offer on site supplements/estimates at this time.
